spare time: 暇な時間/What do you do in your spare time？

What game do you have spares in?　It's　bowling.

The each bowl is called a frame(枠）.

wheel man:（強盗で）driver の別の言い方/A wheel man is a driver in  a robbery

tax(動詞）：税金をかける、（負担を）かける

cab:(cabin)覆いのある車（または馬車）

carriage:覆いのない車（馬車で）

droppings:（ペットなどの）落し物/ The horses leave manure(肥し）

Going to the doctor

Body parts（体の部分）

Ear（耳）/Year　Yearは”Y"の部分をすこし強く言ってみましょう

mouse（口）/mouth "th"の部分は舌をしっかり上下の歯の間にやさしく挟みます

逆にmouseは"se"の部分で唇を横に引きます。

nose（鼻）/knows

eyes（目）/I's

(19世紀に使われたいいかた。高等教育を受けていない人々の間で時折使われます）

head（頭）/ I head for the office.(この場合は動詞。～に向かう。）

他にレタスやキャベツを数えるときは、１head２headと数えます。

hand（手）/I hand you some papers(この場合handは動詞。手渡す。）

stomach上腹部、胃）　Yesterday I had to stomach a　meeting(この場合のstomachは動詞で我慢する＝patience）

butt（尻）（This is the butt of the penこの場合のbuttはendと同義です）

foot（When I eat dinner I have to foot the bill.　この場合のfootはpay（支払う）と同義です）

体の部分を使って全く違うことを言うことができます。こんな風に。。。

I have to stomach footing for the bill.

sickness（状態）

ache：（dull pain)

sharp pain（鋭いいたみ）

tooth pain(きつい痛み）/tooth ache(鈍くいたい）

hurt:I hurt my knee playing basketball(傷める）

Sore：（使い過ぎの）痛みsore throat/ sore knee

sprain：ねんざ

break（比較的小さな骨折）/fracture(医学用語で骨折）

cold/flu(influenza）I have a cold

(スペイン風邪：世界的にはやった最初のかぜ）

fever:熱（人気＝popular）

stiff（こっている。動かない状態。/stiff shoulder(肩こり）/The other day,my friend stiffed me with the bill（この場合stiff動詞で困らせる/払わない)

I feel hot（暑い）/I'm hot(????私はうまくいっている（もてている））

I feel cold（寒い）/I'm cold（私は冷たい）

I feel pain in ～（～に痛みがある）

cold pack/icing：冷罨法

hot pack：温罨法

AED（Automated External Defibrillator：自動体外式除細動器

rub:(外用薬を）ぬる（cream,gel,lotion,ointment(oint(においが出るもの））

Swallow：飲み込む（Drink water before swallow this tablet）

Drink：飲む

Capsule/Capulet/Tablet/powder

（海外では粉薬はあまりないみたいです。違法のものと混ぜやすいからだそうです。海外旅行に薬をもっていくときは気を付けてください）

Injection：注射

Crutch：松葉つえ（支える）

Crotch：木などのまた。ズボンのまたのところ。（Crotch area is tight）

Clutch：しっかり握る
