今日はたくさんの犬を使った表現が出てきました。

犬にかかわる表現か多いのはどうしてでしょう？

西洋では昔から生活に深く関わってきました。

ときに人は犬の姿に自分を重ね合わせて表現しました。

また犬は働き者です。

だから犬は他の動物に比べて登場する確率が高いのです。

文脈の中ではなく、常に返答の語として使います。この表現は老若男女に使えますし、ドラマなどでもよく聞きます。トーンによっては、皮肉的な返答の場合もあります。ちなみに「just」は付けても付けなくてもＯＫですよ。
